Family Day @ A’Famosa

On the 5th and 6th of September 2009, Robotics Club of MMU Malacca organized a two days one night trip to A’Famosa Water World, Alor Gajah. Altogether 36 committees on the board joined us in this year Family Day trip.

What is Family Day, you may ask. Family Day exists with the sole purpose to bond all board of directors, from the president right til the sub-committees. It is a meaningful annual event of Robotics Club to let all committees to get to know each other more. By interacting through games and activities, leadership and team spirit is instilled in an enjoyable manner.

The Administrative Coordinator Unit (ACU) is in charged of organizing the whole trip. Early morning on the 5th, a group of ACU members travelled to A’Famosa to set up and prepare the activities plan ahead of the day. The rest of the committee members gathered at CLC Concourse car park at 12 noon sharp. Members were then directed to their respective car and we were all set to go! It was a sunny day and we were all buzzing with excitement.

Insider’s view of Electronics and PCB Workshops!

On the 13th and 14th of August, there was a large gathering at FSER 2016. WHY? It’s simply because we are having PCB FABRICATION and INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS series workshops. These workshops weren’t like any other boring workshops stuffed with electronics geeks’ languages. It’s way much more fun and interesting! We are sure that all participants were amazed by the experienced and friendly committees who provided the guidance for the doubts.

UKM Exhibition 2009

During the midterm break of Semester 1 of Academic Year 2009/2010, the Robotics Club of MMU Malacca was invited by the IT Society of University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Bangi branch to participate in their Karnival Konvokesyen ICT Ke-34 at their campus. A group of thirteen people, mostly the committees of the club, was sent as representatives. We reached there at approximately ten o’clock in the morning and were met by a slight drizzle. The rain did not dampen our mood; instead it made the weather nice and cooler, which cheered us up!

Without any further delay, we quickly setup the booth. The workload became lighter with the collaboration of every committee. We had so much fun there. Kudos to everyone!

Well, just like RCW 2009 which was held in MMU not long ago, there were some demonstrations, exhibitions, and mini games provided. The exhibitions of sumo robot and combat robot were at the centre of the hall. It has attracted quite a crowd.
