Scheduled tentatively on 16, 17 & 18th of March, it guarantees a huge succession of workshops, competitions, game plays and mini games involving robots. (of course!)

Students who are studying in engineering field are greatly encouraged to participate in this event to gain knowledge which are not covered in the syllabus of their course. Other faculty students are welcomed to exchange knowledge and make new friends as well!

Building a DC Motor Speed Controller

On the 3rd of December, we had organized another workshop on how to build a DC Motor Speed Controller. The workshop was well-received as lots of participants took part.

The workshop was conducted by the Research and Skills Development Unit (SDU) of Robotics Club. Instructor of the day was the Head of SDU, Mr. Tan Wei Lip and our Myanmar robot enthusiast , KT Aye.

It was a very beneficial workshop as all the participants were given detailed explanations on the basic function of a DC motor driver which they are using the IC555 Timer to operate with. Besides that, participants were also taught about the basic operation of BJT Transistor to work with a DC Motor. Not to forget during this workshop, participants were given tips and tricks on how to control the motor speed.
