Robotics Club has something to announce! Guess what it is??? Line/Wall Following Robot? again???
The answer is no, we are bringing up something new this time! Have you heard of Combat Robot?
If no, this two links could bring you to a rough understanding of Combat Robots.

Robotics Club is now recruiting participants for the “Combat Robot Challenge 2010″ of Robotics Challenge Week 2010!

To register, all you need to do is:
1) Form a team of 3 person
2) Contact the person in charge: Jerome Liew, 017-2261690, jerome_liew@hotmail.com
3) Register your team with registration fees of RM15

And you are officially participants of the Combat Robot Challenge and also the free workshops provided.

Training workshops provided:
1) Introduction to PIC and MIWI*
2) Schematics and Traxmaker workshop
3) PCB Fabrication workshop
4) Mechanical and Shaft turning workshop
5) Programming workshop

*MIWI is a wireless protocol widely used nowadays. It is compatible with the hardware MRF24J40MA produced by Microchip.
With the help of many, Robotics Club has finally able to interface it with PIC 18lf2520 and is able to perform frequency switching.
Thus, the training workshops will focus on this technology.
