Robotics Challenge Week (RCW) 2010
Robotics Challenge Week, is an annual event which is organized by MMU Robotics Club. This is the 5th time MMU Robotics Club is organizing this event. RCW is a National Level event involving colleges and universities from all around Malaysia. By participating in this event, we get a chance to communicate, exchange knowledge and even strengthen our relationship with other universities’ students.
The main purpose of RCW is to present a platform to showcase the skills, creativities and the hardwork of Engineering students. They have been given this chance to prove themselves and show their creation and intelligent skill in programming a robot. During this event, there will be several robot competitions.
For most of us, RCW feels like it is mainly made for adults. And that is so wrong! The interest to make robots should be cultivated from young. Besides all those dangerous fighting robots, we also provide some safe and fun stuff for children and their parents. For example, Sugo Robots where by children have a chance to build their own imaginary robots using LEGO or other safe components. Indirectly, parents can strengthen their relationship with their children.
For those MMU students who wish to gain some leadership or teamwork experiences, you are welcome to join us as working committees of RCW 2010. Recruitment is ongoing now!
By joining this event, you may stand a chance to know how to manage a national level event or learn how to work as a team to make this event successful. Such experience is useful for us in the future and you will never learn it from your studies. Nevertheless, SAPs points will be given to all the working committee who participate in this event.
