ROBOtech: The Grand Finale

The highly anticipated ROBOtech 2010 had successfully ended last Thurday.
This three-day event kicked off on 16th of March starting with the Grand Opening Ceremony. The guest-of-honor invited to officiate ROBOtech was the Deputy Dean of FET, Dr. Lim Way Soong. STAD Officer, Madam Fauzianita was also invited to witness the opening ceremony. After the formality and speeches, Dr. Lim was given a gigantic remote to control a robot, which pulled off the cloth hanging over the “ROBOtech” header. Colourful confetti ensued and this marked the memorable opening of the event.

We have green car, green air-cond, green paper bag, green etc. Following this new trend of environmental conserving effort and supporting our ISO14000, Robotics Club is embracing the green culture by organizing a dialogue on how to build robot structure solely using recyclable objects and parts.
